3D Current Collector
With four core strengths: ultra-lightweight, high conductivity, strong suppression of lithium dendrites and adaptation to solid-state batteries, it won the China first invention patent of 3D composite current collector.
The new generation of core material for lithium battery, 3D composite current collector different from the traditional planar copper foil/aluminum foil, subverts "metal - polymer - metal" sandwich structure, with a three-dimensional porous skeleton constructed from flame-retardant fiber base membrane, and a double-sided deposited highly conductive metal layer (Cu/Al) to form a through-type three-dimensional conductive network. With four core strengths: ultra-lightweight, high conductivity, strong suppression of lithium dendrites and adaptation to solid-state batteries, it won the China first invention patent of 3D composite current collector.
Core Parameters (Sample Specification)
Base material: Flame retardant high performance fiber/carbon nanotube composite fiber (T 8 – 20 μ m)
Porosity: ≥70%
Area resistance: 5-20mΩ/□
Area density: 20-40 g/m² (Lighter ≥70% than conventional copper foil)
Spec.: Customizable
Core Strengths:
1. High-energy density: The 3D structure improves the active material loading, the improved battery energy density by 9 – 18%.
2. Ultra-fast charging: The 3D conductive network shortens the ion migration path, the improved rate performance by 30% above.
3. High safety: The porous structure buffers the volume expansion to inhibit the growth of lithium dendrites, adapted to the interface requirements of solid-state batteries.
4. Long cycle life: Interface impedance (about 2/3) reduced, the cycle stability improved, the capacity decay in 1000 cycles<10%.
Application:
Lithium battery for consumer, power and energy storage; sodium battery for small power and energy storage
