LCP fiber
Vectran is mainly made of polyarylene-based fibers, which are stronger than aramid fibers and have advantages such as high tensile strength, low moisture absorption, high dimensional stability and high impact resistance. Therefore, it is widely used in the manufacture of fiber optic cable, electric wire and cable, marine rope, parachute line, protective clothing and bulletproof vest, and special building materials.
Advantages of Vectaran
1. Higher tensile strength than aromatic polyamide (About 20%)
2. Low coefficient of linear expansion (×10-6/°C degree) does not undergo thermal contraction.
3. Unlike aromatic polyamide, it does not expand even at low temperatures.
4. Unaffected by moisture. (Even under rain, snow and high humidity, the strength and size remain unchanged)
5. Excellent electrical insulation
6. Even if the load is always under load, it will hardly stretch (low creep).
